SPC Lawyers has been an established Victoria Point law firm since 2007. Still based in Victoria Point, SPC Lawyers now also services surrounding areas including the Gold Coast and the Bayside Area.
SPC Lawyers was established by Rod Bickell and is now run by Paul Jones (formerly of Slater & Gordon). As a small firm, Paul is able to provide you with the personal service that is often missing from some of the larger firms. Paul has extensive experience in conveyancing, personal injury compensation, commercial and retail leases, and retirement village leases.
Paul Jones – Principal Lawyer
Paul graduated with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and started his career in the Qld Justice Department as a Coroners Clerk, Civil Litigation Clerk, and Family Law Clerk. He then spent time as a general duties constable in the Qld Police Service while completing his Law Degree.
Paul worked as a legal assistant and paralegal at Thomas Dunton Solicitors (London) and Trilby Misso (now Slater and Gordon) and was admitted as a solicitor in 2011. He continued his career with Slater and Gordon and was a Senior Associate at the Victoria Point and Gold Coast offices.
Paul’s expertise is in personal injury law, including workers’ compensation claims (Workcover Queensland and other Qld based self-insurers); motor vehicle accident claims (CTP claims, MVA claims); public liability claims (PIPA, occupiers liability); total and permanent disability claims (TPD super claims); medical negligence claims; product liability claims.
